All-new 2021 Bajaj Pulsar F250 and NS250 launched in India
KUALA LUMPUR: The Bajaj Pulsar nameplate is branded and sold in the Malaysian market under the Modenas Pulsar nameplate. For instance, the Bajaj Pulsar 200 lineup is sold in the local market as the Modenas Pulsar RS200 and Modenas Pulsar NS200.
So, when we heard about the all-new Bajaj Pulsar F250 and Pulsar NS250, it was obvious for us to get excited. As the same models might someday enter the Modenas Malaysia lineup.
The two new 250s by Bajaj supersedes the ongoing Pulsar 200. And both the F250 and NS250 are powered by a single-cylinder, oil-cooled, two-valve, EFI fed mill that pumps out a maximum power of 24.5 PS at 8,750 rpm along with a peak torque of 21.5 Nm at 6,500 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a five-speed gearbox and chain final drive.
Ensuring a smooth and comfortable ride is the new suspension setup that includes a 37 mm diameter telescopic front fork and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear. Braking is taken care of by a single 300 mm diameter front disc and a 230 mm diameter rear disc. A single-channel ABS is a standard fitment.
