A new motorcycle brand is coming to Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, you read it right. The new year 2022 is full of surprises, especially for the automobile and motorcycle industry. With a number of launches planned across the different two- and four-wheeler segments, we now hear the arrival of a brand new motorcycle brand. Are you excited, well we sure are!

MForce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd, the local distributor of several key motorcycle brands, such as SYM, Benelli, Keeway, and Brixton, has now announced the arrival of a new brand under its wing. Moto Morini, an almost 80-year-old Italian motorcycle brand, has appointed MForce as its exclusive distributor for Malaysia. And mind you, this is not a cheap, easy to get motorcycle company, its Italian heritage must have made that bit clear.

Over the years, i.e., since 1937, Moto Morini has developed motorcycles and its expertise in the area are hard to doubt. The best part is over the years, this legendary motorcycle brand has evolved as per market requirement and taste. Thus making sure the end products are nothing short of flair and power.

Which Moto Morini motorcycles will grace the Malaysian market?

Well, we are not sure as MForce Bike Holdings has not shared any detail in this regard. However, we do know that Moto Morini lineup is quite impressive with models like Super Scrambler, Milano Corsaro ZZ, and Corsaro ZT. Irrespective of which model enters the market all are capable of making an impact in the local bike big segment.

MForce has released its official PR that gives us a little hint as to what we should expect. It reads, "Motorcycle enthusiasts will be able to witness and to own X-Cape 650 motorcycle in the second quarter of this year at MForce authorized dealers nationwide." Does that mean a mid-range adventure-tourer is on its way?

Here’s some information about the upcoming Moto Morini X-Cape 650?

Engine: The X-Cape 650 is powered by a 650 cc L-twin mill making a maximum power output of 60 hp at 8,250 rpm along with a peak torque of 56 Nm at 7,000 rpm

Features: 18-litre fuel tank, 19-inch front & 17-inch rear wheels, switchable ABS, Brembo brakes, and more
