A new Harley-Davidson coming soon; global reveal on Jan 26

KUALA LUMPUR: New year calls for new beginnings and hope. And for the automotive industry, it’s adding new vehicles or giving the old ones a revamp. One such motorcycle company is Harley-Davidson that has made us all excited about its upcoming model.

Harley-Davidson has dropped a teaser that suggests that a new motorcycle is coming. The big reveal will be made on January 26. 2022.

The teaser also gives us a glimpse of the upcoming H-D silhouette from a tank. Though the company has not revealed any information, the accompanying tagline ‘FURTHER, FASTER.’ gives us a hint of its powerful stance. This brings to our mind the new Revolution Max 1250 engine that powers the Sportster S and Pan America. The upcoming model might get the same powerful engine. Also, it might be a more powerful version of the two motorcycles.

The new Revolutionary Max 1250 generates 150 hp and 127 Nm which we think is more than enough for Paan America 1250. Meaning the teaser might indicate an even powerful Sportster S. In the ongoing model, the mill pumps out a maximum power of 121 hp and a peak torque of 127 Nm.

There are more elements that indicate the need for an even ‘FURTHER, FASTER.’ Sportster S. For instance, the ongoing model has a fuel tank capacity of just 11.8-litre, a model with a bigger capacity tank would be good.

Note, these all are just assumptions, Harley-Davidson might launch an entirely new or different motorcycle. So, stay tuned with Zigwheels Malaysia to know H-D’s big reveal.
