Let’s know the new models in detail -

    2025 Modenas Kawasaki Eliminator

The Kawasaki Eliminator is a stylish and versatile cruiser, offering an ultimate blend of cruiser comfort and sports bike performance. It features an accessible, low seat height measuring 735 mm, with an option to lower it further for added comfort. The bike is equipped with an LED headlamp, an LED tail lamp, and a circular LCD screen.

At the core of the new Eliminator lies a 451cc liquid-cooled, parallel-twin, DOHC, eight-valve mill that produces a maximum power of 45.4 PS at 9,000 rpm and a peak torque of 42.6 Nm at 6,000 rpm. Power is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox and chain final drive. With a responsive throttle and light clutch, the bike is perfect for relaxed cruising or spirited rides, claims the automaker.

The bike rides on 18-inch front and 16-inch rear wheels with 130/70 and 150/80 tyres, respectively. Handling the suspension duties non-adjustable telescopic forks at the front and preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear. The braking is done by a 310 mm front disc and a 240 mm rear disc, both clamped with dual-piston callipers.

The new Modenas Kawasaki Eliminator price in Malaysia begins at RM 30,100 (without insurance and roadtax). It is now available for purchase at all Kawasaki All-Star showrooms in two colour choices - Pearl Robotic White and Metallic Spark Black.

    2025 Modenas Kawasaki ZX-6R

The Kawasaki ZX-6R is a high-performance supersport motorcycle, combining advanced technology with sharp styling. Inspired by the ZX-10R, the all-new ZX-6R comes with refreshed front and side cowls, new LED lights, a revised windscreen, and blacked-out engine covers.

The bike is powered by an upgraded 636-cc inline four-cylinder liquid-cooled DOHC engine, which complies with Euro 5 emissions standards. The mill has been engineered with new header pipes and updated cam profiles, offering better performance. It kicks out a maximum power of 124 PS at 13,000 rpm and a peak torque of 69 Nm at 10,800 rpm.

    Other key highlights include -

    • 4.3-inch full-colour TFT display
    • Showa SFF-BP 41 mm diameter upside-down, fully adjustable front forks
    • Fully adjustable monoshock
    • Four ride modes - Sport, Road, Rain and User
    • Three-mode traction control
    • Twin 310 mm floating front disc brakes with dual radial-mounted 4-piston callipers
    • Single 220 mm rear disc with a single-piston calliper
    • 795 mm seat height
    • Two colour options - Metallic Flat Spark Black / Ebony and Lime Green / Ebony

Priced at RM 59,900, the new Modenas Kawasaki ZX-6R will open for pre-booking at all Kawasaki All-Star showrooms starting December 1, 2024, with a deposit of RM 500. The pre-booking period will run through January 31, 2025.

Modenas will hold a special handover ceremony for the first 50 owners at Sepang in February 2025, giving them a special experience from assembly to the road.

Along with the launch of new models, the company organised its largest MotoGP convoy to the Sepang International Circuit, featuring 400 Kawasaki owners. It departed from Glenmarie at 8:30 AM, escorted by police for safety. This event showcased various Kawasaki models from 250cc to 1100cc, allowing bikers to connect and make new friends. Special Kawasaki convoy t-shirts, K1 Grandstand tickets, and food vouchers were given to all the participants.

Roslan Roskan, CEO of MODENAS, stated, “We are thrilled to launch the Modenas Eliminator and ZX-6R at such a prestigious event as MotoGP 2024. These models reflect our commitment to innovation and quality, designed to meet the needs of all motorcycle enthusiasts. We believe that the Eliminator will appeal to new riders looking for an accessible entry point, while the ZX-6R offers the performance and excitement that seasoned riders crave. We are proud to support the Malaysian motorcycle community and look forward to continuing to enhance our product offerings.”
