2025 Honda BeAT launched in Malaysia at RM 6,090

KUALA LUMPUR: Boon Siew Honda, the official distributor of Honda bikes in Malaysia, has launched the all-2025 Honda BeAT in the country. The latest version of this agile and stylish entry-level scooter features a new sporty look and new features, making it the perfect choice for modern, urban riders.

2025 Honda BeAT: Key highlights

Price 

The 2025 Honda BeAT is priced at RM 6,090 (excluding road tax, insurance, and registration) in Malaysia. Included in the price is a 2-year or 20,000 km manufacturing warranty (whichever comes first).

Design

The new Honda BeAT features a compact appearance, offering riders better handling in heavy traffic. It benefits from new LED headlights, which are not only stylish but also offer bright and clear lighting. 

The upgraded scooter boasts a sporty design with modern, eye-catching stripes, enhancing its cool and youthful appeal. It comes in four vibrant colours - Matte Silver, Red, Blue and Green.

Engine

At the core of the new Honda BeAT lies the same 110-cc eSP single-cylinder air-cooled engine which kicks out a maximum power of 8.67 hp at 7,500 rpm and a peak torque of 9.53 Nm at 5,500 rpm. Power is sent to the wheels via a CVT transmission mated to a belt drive system.

The scooter is certified as an Energy Efficient Vehicle, offering an impressive mileage of 1.7 litres per 100 km (equivalent to 58.82 kmpl).

Features 

With the new BeAT, riders get a built-in charger to conveniently power up their devices on the go. Also new for the 2025 model year is an improved semi-digital meter that features a battery indicator allowing riders to monitor their motorcycle battery health.

The equipment kit continues to include the following bits - 

• 14-inch wheels wrapped with 80/90 front and 90/90 rear tyre
• Hydraulic front disc brake and mechanical drum rear brake
• A star-rated Combined Brake System (CBS), certified by MyMAP

• Telescopic front fork and non-adjustable single rear shock absorber
• 11.7-litre under-seat storage compartment
• Parking brake lock
