2025 Aveta Nova scooters launched in Malaysia; starts from RM 5,188

KUALA LUMPUR: Aveta has introduced two affordable scooters in Malaysia—Nova 125 and Nova 160. Targeting the practical needs of urban riders, these latest two-wheeled machines look stylish and come equipped with essential features and fuel-efficient engines. 

Aveta Nova 125: Key highlights

• The Nova 125 measures 1,930 mm in length, 688 mm in width, 1,105 mm in height, and has a wheelbase of 1,320 mm. 
• The lightweight scooter tips the scale at 104 kg with a seat height estimated at 765 mm.
• It is powered by a 125-cc  air-cooled, single-cylinder, SOHC, two-valve engine that kicks out a maximum power of 9 hp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 8.8 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

• The Nova 125 rides on 14-inch wheels wrapped with 80/90 front and 90/90 rear tyres.
• Key features include - Full LED headlights, a dual USB port, a 3.7-inch digital LCD display, a 6-litre fuel tank, a CBS braking system, and telescopic fork front and swing arm rear suspension. 

• Priced at RM 5,188, the Nova 125 is offered in three colour choices - Berry Peach, Grey Lemon and Blue Lemon.

Aveta Nova 160: Key highlights

• Bigger than the Nova 125, the Nova 160 measures 2,003 in length, 710 mm in width, and 1,138 mm in height and has a wheelbase of 1,370 mm.

• The scooter weighs 112 kg and comes with a seat height of 778 mm.
• Powering the Nova 160 is a 154.4-cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that is tuned to make 15.8 hp of maximum power at 8,500 and 14.7 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm.
• It runs on 14-inch wheels mated to 100/80 front and 120/70 rear tyres.

• Feature kit includes - Full LED lights, USB charging port, a modern metre panel, a keyless control system, an idling stop system, a 10-litre fuel tank, front and rear disc brakes, and gas-charged shock absorbers.

• Priced at RM 7,988, the Nova 160 colour palette includes - Aveta Blue, Raven Red, and Copper Blaze.

The all-new Nova scooters will hit the authorised Aveta dealerships beginning in March 2025.
