2024 WMoto RT1 gets three bold new colour options

KUALA LUMPUR: Mforce Bike Holdings Sdn Bhd has introduced the updated WMoto RT1 in Malaysia. The latest model features new graphics along with exciting colours, giving it a fresh and dynamic look. However, the price remains unchanged at RM 9,888 (excluding road tax & insurance).

The WMoto RT1 comes in three new colour choices - White, Sky Blue, and Matte Red, replacing the previously available Enchanting Blue, Mystique Black, and Dazzling Grey.

With other things remaining unchanged, the WMoto RT1 comes powered by a tried and tested 150-cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns out a maximum power of 15.4 hp at 8,000 rpm and a peak torque of 14.5 Nm at 6,750 rpm. Power is transmitted to the rear wheel through a CVT gearbox and belt drive system.

This budget-friendly scooter does not compromise on quality and performance and thus comes packed with several enhanced technology features such as full-LED lighting, a Smart key system, a traction control system, and a 1080p HD dash camera.

 

The WMoto scooter features a TFT-LCD instrument cluster that supports Bluetooth connectivity for seamless integration with smartphones. With the updated model, customers also get an “improved” USB charging port, allowing them to charge their devices on the go.

The scooter also boasts a stylish windshield, aluminium passenger pedal, and anti-slip pad, enhancing both the look and safety. It also comes with a spacious under-seat compartment for storing essential items. The RT1 rides on 14-inch wheels shod with 110/80 front and 120/70 rear tyres.

The suspension setup comprises telescopic forks at the front and preload-adjustable twin shock absorbers at the rear. Handling the braking duties are hydraulic discs on both ends complemented by a two-wheel anti-lock braking system. 

The new WMoto RT1 is now available at all WMoto dealership stores across Malaysia. It comes with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
