2023 Modenas Versys-X 250 arrives in Malaysia

KUALA LUMPUR: Edaran Modenas Sdn Bhd, the official distributor of Modenas bikes in Malaysia, has introduced the all-new 2023 Versys-X 250. The new adventure-tourer motorcycle is now available for purchase at a price of RM 24,900 (excluding road tax, insurance, or registration). 

Dressed in a Metallic Flat Spark Black/CDY Lime Green shade, the 2023 Modenas Versys-X 250 is being touted as a game-changer in Malaysia's adventure touring segment due to its affordability and remarkable features. 

At the core of the new Modenas bike lies a 249-cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine kicking out a maximum power of 33.5 hp at 10,500 rpm and a peak torque of 21.7 Nm at 10,000 rpm. The power is sent to the wheels via a six-speed gearbox mated to a slipper and assist clutch system.

The new Versys-X 250 has an adventure-ready design with a comfortable upright riding position, making it well-suited for long travel. The seat height is measured at 815 mm. 

With a ground clearance of 180 mm, the bike rides on 19-inch front and 17-inch rear wheels wrapped with 100/90 and 130/80 tyres respectively. Helping it stop are hydraulic discs complemented by dual-piston callipers. The suspension duties are handled by non-adjustable telescopic forks at the front and a preload-adjustable mono-shock at the rear.
