- The recall is limited to North America and the company has notified about the same to the United States National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA)
- The foot peg is identified as a production defect on the part of the footpeg manufacturer
- A total of 145 units of the Ducati V4 have been recalled
- Authorized service centers have been instructed to look for a passenger peg with the ‘K22’ code, which will then be replaced by a new component free of charge
- Right-side passenger pegs (PN.46520942AA) and/or left-side passenger footpegs (PN.46520952AA) not designated under the “K22” batch are tagged ‘OK’ and will not be replaced
Ducati has urged the owners of the affected vehicle to take their units at the earliest to the nearest company dealership and get them inspected and repaired.
