Price & availability
The new KTM 250 DUKE comes with a base sticker price of RM 21,500 (including insurance, road tax, and registration).
It is one of the key headliners of the KTM Malaysia Tour 2022, so besides being available at the roadshow, one can find it at the brand's authorized dealers nationwide.
Engine
Powering the 250 DUKE is a thumpy, 249 cc four-valve, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine with DOHC. It generates a maximum power output of 30 hp at 9,000 rpm along with a peak torque of 24 Nm at 7,250 rpm. The output is sent to the rear wheel via a six-speed gearbox and chain final drive. The transmission system further gets the brand's Power Assisted Slipper Clutch (PASC) suite with one finger lever operation and rear-wheel hop mitigation during rough downshifts.
Suspension & braking
KTM’s signature split steel trellis architecture is harnessed by a chassis that features non-adjustable WP Apex 43 upside-down forks at the front and a WP Apex mono-shock at the rear, adjustable for preload.
The braking, on the other hand, is taken care of by a single radial-mount, four-piston brake calliper at the front and a single-piston calliper at the rear. They are supplied by Brembo’s budget hour brand, Bybre.
Also part of the setup is the Bosch M9.1 ABS suite.

KTM says the 250 DUKE is at the ‘forefront of chasing non-stop trills day and night’ all thanks to its highly advanced features like -
- Steel trellis frame, powder-coated
- Sharp LED headlights offering outstanding visibility
- 110/70-71-inch front tyre and upside-down forks
- 100% digital LCD display showing extensive information
- New two-part seat design offers a sporty riding position & enhanced comfort
- Large 13.5-litre fuel tank
- 830 mm seat height
- 146 kg dry weight
Colour options
The new KTM 250 DUKE is available in two colour options - Metallic Silver & Dark Galvano. While the former gets black graphics & wheels, the latter showcases graphics and wheels in a signature tangerine tone. No more of the previous orange and white hues are available.
