2022 Kawasaki Z900 gets an exciting Candy Lime Green attire

KUALA LUMPUR: Since EICMA 2021, the Japanese bikemaker Kawasaki is busy in rolling out updates for its entire lineup and the recent one is introducing a new colour option for the Kawasaki Z900 in India. The new shade is called ‘Candy Lime Green Type 3,’ which is team green’s signature colour. It will be available alongside the already existing Metallic Spark Black hue in the Indian market from January 1, 2022.

Kawasaki has made no alterations on the mechanical front. That is, the Indian-spec Kawasaki Z900 continues to draw power from the same 948-cc, inline four-popper mill that delivers a maximum power output of 123.6 bhp at 9,500 rpm and a peak torque of 98.6 Nm at 7,700 rpm. The power is sent to the ground via a six-speed transmission. 

In terms of electronic equipment, the Kawasaki streetfighter is equipped with Traction Control System, dual-channel ABS, two power modes (Low and Full), and three riding modes (Sport, Rain, and Road).

The bike also continues with the same styling featuring twin LED headlamps, an exposed frame, a sculpted fuel tank, and split seats. It sports a 4.3-inch TFT instrument panel that offers a smartphone connectivity option via Kawasak’s Rideology application.

Kawasaki India retails the new Z900 streetfighter at ₹8.50 lakh, which is approximately equal to RM 47,497.
