2022 Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak version introduced

KUALA LUMPUR: The latest edition of Ducati World Premiere has brought along a lot of surprises for the two-wheeled motoring world. For instance, the 2022 Ducati Scrambler Urban Motard and 2022 Ducati Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO. Many more Ducati models are promised by the company (a new model every two weeks of the show) with the much-awaited Ducati Desert X being the last to showcase on December 9, 2021.

The latest model introduced by the company is the 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak version. It is a ‘race version’ of the brand’s adventure offering with lots of advanced and exciting features. The end product is a very advanced adventure motorcycle that can take on any challenge thrown its way.

What is on offer?

The 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak showcases a new colour scheme inspired by Ducati’s MotoGP prototype, the Desmosedici GP. It is to be noted that it is termed as the sportier Multistrada ever and therefore is equipped with gears that help it stay true to the company’s claim. For instance, it gets -

• A dedicated riding position (10 mm backwards & upwards)
• Ducati’s signature single-side swingarm
• 17-inch wheels with sport tyre with revised riding ergonomics
• A new racing mode called Race
• First Multistrada to benefit from the Smart EC 2.0 Ohlins electronic suspension
• An updated rev limiter and quickshift functions

What powers the 2022 Ducati Multistrada V4 Pikes Peak version?

This super capable adventure motorcycle is powered by an equally capable engine, i.e., a 1,158 cc Granturismo V4 unit making a maximum power of 107 hp at 10,500 rpm along with a peak torque of 125 Nm at 8,750 rpm.
