2019 CFMoto 250 NK launched in Malaysia, starts at RM 12,800
KUALA LUMPUR: Welcome the newest entrants in the Malaysian motorcycle arena. CFMoto has introduced 2019 250 NK at a starting price of RM 12,800. The sibling which comes equipped with a TFT-LCD instrument console and dual-channel ABS, the 250 NK SE has been given a price tag of RM 13,800. Note that the prices do not include insurance, road tax, and registration costs. Want to know something special about the CFMoto 250 NK? The designing of the motorcycle has been done by Kiska Design. With around 200 people hailing from 30 different countries worldwide who work in China, Austria, Germany, and the United States, Kiska is one of the largest design studios from Europe.
The 2019 CFMoto 250 NK gets a steel-tube trellis frame which houses a 250 cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled EFI motor. This engine makes 26.5 PS of maximum power and 22 Nm of peak torque. A 6-speed gearbox transfers the power to the rear wheel via a chain drive. Talking about comfort, the 250 K is equipped with a pair of non-adjustable USD forks up front and pre-load adjustable monoshock at the back. 17-inch wheels clothed with 110/70 and 140/60 tyres are found at the front and rear respectively.
Braking duties have been assigned to single disc rotors at both the ends. While the front brake gets a two-piston calliper, the rear features a single-piston calliper. For better braking in harsh conditions and enhanced safety, the SE variant also comes equipped with a dual-channel antilock braking system (ABS). While the standard 250 NK receives a monochrome LCD screen for the instrument console, the SE model boasts a TFT-LCD screen. Both the variants get LED lighting and DRLs as well. The 250 NK can store up to 12.5-litre of juice at once in its fuel tank.
The 250 NK gets a generous seat height of 795 mm along with a wheelbase of 1,360 mm. These dimensions make the 250 NK a very compact and easy to flick streetfighter. Available in two finishes namely Electro Silver and Nebula Black, the non-abs 250 NK will be up for grabs starting January whereas the 250 NK SE will hit the showrooms in February 2019. The 2019 CFMoto 250 NK comes with an engine warranty of two-year or unlimited mileage along with a two-year or 20,000 km manufacturing warranty.
