Zayn Malik's car: The last steering to cry upon

Kuala Lumpur: Zayn Malik came in the spotlight when he made his debut appearance on the British television series 'The X Factor' as a solo artist. Though initially he was eliminated but was brought back into the competition with four other contestants to form a group, which we know as 'One Direction' today. After five successful years, Zayn recently decided to quit the band due to some personal reasons which left many fans in tears. Love him or hate him, but you can't ignore him.

Zayn always has his own way of doing things. We have seen him transform his school boy image into that of an international pop star. When Zayn was a part of One Direction, it was considered to be one of the richest bands. At such young age, these boys have managed to earn a fortune. They are living a lifestyle which is just a dream for many. Earlier in an interview Zayn has said that he plans to buy a fleet of expensive cars when he gets his driving license. Buying his first car was just a matter of seconds for Zayn. While he was in Hertfordshire, a black Bentley Continental GT caught his eye and in the second moment he was there to buy it. To get the keys to this new car he had to shell out a whopping £32,000, an amount which people of his age could only dream of.

This sophisticated car is inspired from the design of a stylish coupe with some experiments done by Bentley adding to the brand's signature style. It is a combination of powerful performance along with hand-crafted luxury. For Malaysian market, Continental GT is powered by a twin turbocharged 6.0-litre W12 engine that churns out a maximum power of 574 hp at 6100 rpm along with a commanding torque of 700 Nm at 1700 rpm. Further, it is mated to a ZF eight-speed automatic transmission with quick shift steering column mounted gearshift paddles. It features an all-wheel drive system that channels its power to all the four wheels. From a position of halt, it can reach an acceleration of 100 kmph in just 4.5 seconds and can attain a top speed of 318 kmph. Talking about the fuel economy, it consumes 14.5 litres per 100 km.

Her love for these mean machines is carried over from her childhood. For Charu, Barbies didn't make a place in the list of her favorite toys. Instead she would love to collect those toy cars and would go gaga over them. Dragged into the commerce background earlier, now she has finally found her long lost love with CarBay. With a dream to own an Aston Martin one day, she doesn't get tired researching about other automakers too.
