VW Malaysia introduces new Volkswagen Cares app
KUALA LUMPUR: In order to elevate the ownership experience for customers, Volkswagen Passenger Cars Malaysia has introduced a new Volkswagen Cares app. The new app will replace the ongoing version with immediate effect and is part of the Volkswagen Cares initiative.
The new app has been developed keeping in mind customers and takes into account all the feedback received. New functions and enhanced features, all aim towards improving the owner’s journey. Furthermore, it is a one-stop centre housing various sales and after-sales support services.
It includes features such as -
- Allows customers to seamlessly manage vehicle information
- Schedule service appointments online
- Connect with VW Malaysia and its network dealerships
- Receive exclusive offers and promotions
- Provide timely VIP reminders
- Allow customers to manage vouchers
Erik Winter, Managing Director of VPCM said, “We have our customers at the forefront of everything we do, and the launch of the new Volkswagen Cares app is an example of this. Our app has been a true success story for us, especially among the markets managed by the PHS group. We have about 30,000 owners with us to date, and more than 50% of this figure are VCP members, those with cars that are 5 years and older.”
He further added “It is heartening to have our customers stay with us, and we see this as a testament of our service improvements and how passionate we are in serving them. Having listened to their needs, we took the initiative to revamp and develop this app for a more immersive experience.”
Also, VW Malaysia has completely digitised the end-to-end car ownership journey bringing accessibility and convenience to the fingertips. Without leaving the comfort of their home, customers can manage everything car-related thanks to the eShowroom, home delivery service, VW Cares app and after-sales services.
In a true sense, VPCM is a digital front-runner in the industry. It was the first auto brand to sell its cars on eCommerce platforms like Shopee and Lazada. And social media too, via Instagram.
Not to forget, via its #SafeHands after-sales campaign, VW Malaysia is ensuring the complete well-being of its customers and employees. It offers a pick-up and drop-off facility, online complimentary 5 Star Service check, cashless and cost-effective payment plans, and Service Cam.Interest customers can download the new Volkswagen Cares app via Google Play or Apple App store.
