Volvo Malaysia launches 'Customer Lifetime Parts Warranty' programme

KUALA LUMPUR: To give its customers additional peace of mind, Volvo Car Malaysia has introduced a new warranty programme called the 'Customer Lifetime Parts Warranty.’

Customer satisfaction has always been a pivotal aspect for Volvo, and through this warranty programme, our customers can now enjoy the benefits of decreased maintenance costs and experience the quality offered by Volvo, in the years to come,” said Volvo Cars Malaysia's Managing Director, Mr Charles Frump.

Who all are eligible for Volvo Malaysia's 'Customer Lifetime Parts Warranty' programme?

Customers who have purchased or installed Volvo genuine parts from 1st Oct 2021 onwards, from an authorised Volvo dealership are eligible for this programme.

How long will the warranty last?

The parts warranty under Volvo's 'Customer Lifetime Parts Warranty' programme will commence from the purchase date and will remain valid until the car falls under the ownership of the registered owner.

What if the part has a material or manufacturing defect?

Inclusion: In case a Volvo genuine part requires a repair or replacement due to a material or manufacturing defect, Volvo Malaysia will do the required job free of charge.

Exclusion: It is to be noted that the 'Customer Lifetime Parts Warranty' programme does not cover regular wear and tear of parts.

What is in it for the old Volvo customers who haven't visited the dealership in a long time?

Well, old customers who haven't visited a Volvo dealership for more than two years can also benefit from the latest 'Customer Lifetime Parts Warranty' programme. All they have to do is bring their car for a Volvo Health Check that will judge - vehicle's condition and whether or not it’s tampered in any way. If all goes well, customers will be able to buy parts under the warranty programme. However, they would be required to bring their car for subsequent services to preserve the validity of the warranty.
