Volvo appoints Pekin Auto its dealer in Johor Bahru

KUALA LUMPUR: Volvo Car Malaysia has confirmed Pekin Auto Sdn Bhd as its Johor Bahru dealer representative. And it’s all a part of the brand’s network expansion plan in the Malaysian market. The new Volvo 3S Centre for service, sales, and spare parts in Skudai, Johor Bahru follows the automaker’s transformation plan that’s all about improving the overall customer experience.

Nalin Jain, Volvo Cars Managing Director, said, “VRE goes beyond its Scandinavian-inspired aesthetics; it is the manifestation of our brand values and our desire to take care of our customers throughout their whole journey with Volvo Cars,”

The new Volvo 3S Centre runs on the brand’s latest VRE standard, i.e., Volvo Retail Experience. The VRE is there to deliver a holistic buying experience at all the brand’s authorized locations.

Mr. Jain further added that “I am happy that our brand has been well-received in the market. We are committed to allowing our customers greater choice by appointing qualified and professional companies like Pekin Auto to represent the brand in key areas.”

Volvo is aggressively applying its next phase of transformation plan with a focus on dealer network enhancement and premium customer experience. Positive results are already following in the company’s internal polls concerning these two areas.

The latest association between Volvo Car Malaysia and Pekin Auto would result in a total of 13 dealerships. In the first half of 2019, Volvo sales have increased by 60 percent.
