Volkswagen Malaysia announces no price increase in the coming future
Kuala Lumpur: Volkswagen Malaysia has confirmed recently at the opening of the Volkswagen Selayang 4S centre that the company is not planning to increase prices of its full range of vehicles in Malaysia. Armin Keller Managing Director of Volkswagen Malaysia confirmed this at the event.
Keller announced this while talking to the MSN, that the company is working at tit's best to absorb all the losses incurred due to the falling ringgit against the dollar. However, they are ready to bear it for a period.
Keller also said that because of the falling ringgit the cost situation in the market is very bad and this is putting a lot of pressure to increase Volkswagen prices. But the company will look up to it model wise, although there are not any plans currently to increase the prices, the company is geared to absorb the increasing bills by not impacting the customers.

Many companies are found to increase prices because of the fall in ringgit. So far the major brands in Malaysia like Toyota, Honda, Mitsubishi and Lexus has confirmed to increase their prices by the start of January 2016. Apart from them another major players like Nissan, Perodua and BMW has made it certain that they will look forward to increasing the price if the situation worsens beyond their capability to absorb.
