As for the brand’s body-type-wise sales, SUVs continued to be its biggest seller with it accounting for 45% of the total deliveries in 2022. While the US market showed an 80% rise in VW’s SUV sales, in the European market the VW T-Roc was crowned as the brand’s best-selling car.
VW’s future plans
In the future, VW plans to add several electric models to its lineup; with 10 models set to join the range by 2026. The first one to join the brand’s EV lineup will be the flagship ID.7 model.
