Toyota Malaysia opens booking for new Alphard & Vellfire MPVs

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, that’s right. The all-new 2023 Toyota Alphard & Vellfire luxury MPVs bookings are now open across Malaysia. The good news was shared by the brand’s official distributor, UMW Toyota Motor yesterday. And we couldn’t be happier and so the individuals with big corporate jobs for whom these MPVs will come in super handy.

New Alphard & Vellfire: Key details

Price and variants

Both the Toyota Alphard and Vellfire are offered in single-trim options and as expected are quite expensive. Full information about this is mentioned in the table below

Powertrain

The Alphard is powered by a 2.4-litre turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine which makes a maximum power output of 279 hp along with a peak torque of 430 Nm.

The Vellfire, on the other hand, gets the brand’s naturally-aspirated 2.5-litre petrol engine making 182 hp and 235 Nm of torque.

Key features

As per Toyota, both the MPVs are more luxurious than ever featuring world-class equipment and materials all around. The Anti-Vibration Structure ensures a relaxed and comfortable journey even through the most bumpy and uneven roads. A few of its key features include  -

• Fixed panoramic glass roof with a 64-colour illumination
• Front and rear first-row seats with heating and ventilation functions
• 12.3-inch full-colour TFT digital instrument panels

Not to forget, the two luxurious MPVs are the first in the world to feature the Hybrid Long Slide function wherein the first row rear seats can slide up to a range of 480 mm (Alphard - electric and manual and Vellfire - manual).
