The all-new Perodua Myvi is coming soon, bookings open

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, it’s true. The all-new 2022 Perodua Myvi is on its way and will be launched in Malaysia very soon. As of now, the automaker has shared an image, few details, and opened up the bookings for the new Myvi.

As per Perodua Malaysia, the new Myvi benefits from a significant amount of upgrades including - tech upgrades, enhanced safety kit, improved fuel economy, better design, and new colours.

Dato’ Zainal Abidin Ahmad, Perodua President and Chief Executive Officer said, "These changes represent our efforts to meet our customers’ growing expectations while at the same time offer greater value by introducing the Next Standard for Malaysia’s most accepted model, the Perodua Myvi."

The term ‘the Next Standard’ seems to indicate an overall improvement in the car, be it front - design, comfort, convenience, performance, and safety. And it makes us all the more excited to meet the new and improved Myvi.

The 2022 Myvi will be available in the following variant options - two 1.3 G and three 1.5-litre models (top 1.5 AV, mid-spec 1.5 H and base 1.5 X).

A few technical details were also shared by the President. He mentioned the Myvi 1.3-litre variant (G trims) fuel economy has gone up from 21.1 kmpl to 22 kmpl. The variants with a 1.5-litre mill, i,e., AV, H, and X will benefit from the latest Perodua Smart Drive Assist system.

New Perodua Myvi will be offered in exciting colour options like Electric Blue, Ivory White, Lava Red, Granite Grey, and Glittering Silver. While the AV variant misses the Lava Red hue, it gets a new, exclusive Cranberry Red hue.

The 2022 Perodua Myvi price range starts from RM 45,700 and goes up to RM 58,800.
