Subaru Viziv Adrenaline Concept uncovered at Geneva; showcases company’s “Bolder” design theme
KUALA LUMPUR: The Subaru Viziv Adrenaline Concept is going to be the first vehicle to feature the company's latest ‘Bolder’ design philosophy. The new concept was recently unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.
The ‘Bolder’ design theme is the main highlight of this car and aims at broadening the brand’s outlook. That is to define the characteristics of Subaru vehicle’s prominently and devise enjoyment for all passengers.
The SUV could be a preview of the upcoming Subaru Crosstrek. The car expresses Subaru’s new ‘Bolder’ design, which the automobile manufacturer will be using in its future vehicles, thus doing away with the current “Dynamic x Solid” language.
Aggressive and expressive outfit rules the exterior. The claddings of the roof spoiler extend all the way to the side mirrors and blends with it seamlessly. The roof spoiler gets a sporty finish with a mix of black and white. Moreover, the side profile consists of a large front door and a significant portion of rear doors that runs over the back wheel.
We are yet to get any report about the engine, but Subaru said it has used its e-Boxer hybrid powertrain, which is built under license from Toyota. The e-boxer is a hybrid upgrade over Subaru’s boxer engine layout, which the company has used in most vehicles above 1500 cc. The engine is said to offer more electric-only range than the current PHEV Crosstrek.
The Viziv Adrenaline Concept is the seventh member in the Viziv line of concept vehicles by Subaru.
