Subaru of America, Inc. Unveils Impreza Sedan Concept at 2015 LA Auto Show
Kuala Lumpur: Subaru of America, Inc officially unveiled the Impreza Sedan Concept today at 2015 Los Angeles Auto Show. The concept previews the next-generation Subaru Impreza Sedan, which is expected make its world debut in 2017. Akin to the Impreza 5 Door Concept, which was unveiled at 2015 Tokyo Motor Show, Subaru Impreza Sedan Concept is also a part of Fuji Heavy Industries's Mid-Term Management vision “Prominence 2020” plan for the next-generation strategic vehicles. Visually speaking, the Impreza Sedan Concept flaunts Subaru's Dynamic and Solid design language. Apart from a new coat of Ruby Red Metallic body paint, the exterior of concept looks pretty much similar to that of the 5-Door concept.

The front-fascia of Impreza Sedan Concept features C-shaped headlamps and a hexagonal grille with a Subaru branding. The lower front fascia gets a lower lip extension that runs smoothly from the fog lamp enclosures and frames to the lower grill.
On the side, there is a strong character that starts from the front headlamps and runs down the sides of the concept towards the rear taillights. The sedan body line is apparent here with the roofline being extended further and sloping towards a small lip spoiler. The concept also gets extended fender flares above the large 19-inch wheels featuring 235/40 R19 tyres that feature the same design as that on the 5-door concept.
The rear of Impreza Sedan Concept flaunts several creases and character lines in addition to C-shaped taillights showcasing new graphics and the black bumper housing the exhaust tip.
Moving to the dimensions, the concept is 4,555 mm long, 1,880 mm wide and 1453 mm tall with the wheelbase measured at 2670 mm and the seating capacity of 5 persons. The powertrain of 2017 Subaru Impreza Sedan is expected to feature naturally aspirated flat-four 1.6L and 2.0L engines mated to a manual gearbox or a Lineartronic CVT.
A hybrid version of the sedan is also likely to come.
