Stellantis Malaysia launches one-stop call centre for Peugeot, DS, and Citroën vehicles

KUALA LUMPUR: Stellantis, one of the world’s leading automotive groups formed from the merger of FCA and the PSA groups, boasts 14 renowned brands worldwide, including Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Chrysler, Citroën, Dodge, DS, Fiat, Jeep, Lancia, Maserati, Opel, Peugeot, Ram, and Vauxhall.

KEY TAKEAWAYS

  • When will the Stellantis Malaysia call centre commence operations?

The Stellantis Malaysia call centre will begin its operations on March 1, 2024.
  • What services will the call centre provide?

The call centre will offer centralised customer support for sales inquiries, aftersales assistance, and complaint resolution related to Peugeot, DS, and Citroën vehicles.
  • Last year, the conglomerate announced the establishment of a National Sales Company in Malaysia to oversee vehicle sales and distribution operations in the country. Earlier, Stellantis brands in the country were distributed by Bermaz Auto Alliance.

Stellantis Malaysia National Sales Company (aka Stellantis Malaysia) is now set to commence a one-stop call centre for Peugeot, DS, and Citroën vehicles in the country. This move is part of Stellantis' efforts to transition to having Stellantis Malaysia manage vehicle sales, distribution, and customer service. The goal is to provide seamless support to customers during this transition period.

Starting March 1, 2024, the call centre will provide centralised customer support for both sales and after-sales inquiries, along with handling any complaints.

The vehicle owners of Peugeot, DS, and Citroën brands can get in touch with the call centre via a toll-free hotline at 1800-18-STLA (7852) or by emailing customersupport.my@stellantis.com.

The call centre will operate from Monday to Sunday, 8:45 AM to 5:45 PM. Furthermore, Stellantis Malaysia will offer 24-hour support for accident and breakdown cases to ensure continuous assistance as required.

The formation of the National Sales Company (NSC) in Malaysia is part of the company’s growth ambitions in the ASEAN region. It aligns with the company’s electrification plans as well as its global Dare Forward 2030 strategy. With the NSC's revamped structure, the company aims to expand its offerings in the Malaysian market, providing customers with a broader range of products and services. It includes the future introduction of new brands to Malaysia under the Stellantis portfolio, confirmed Daniel Gonzalez, Chief Operating Officer for ASEAN & General Distributors at Stellantis.
