Skoda Kushaq is all set for the world premiere
KUALA LUMPUR: For a while, Skoda has been teasing us with the images of its upcoming SUV, the Kushaq. Also, via one of its latest posts, Skoda revealed Kushaq’s world premiere date, i.e., 18th March. Interested individuals can be a part of the debut as Skoda is doing so through a livestream on its Storyboard website.
The new midsize SUV is initially targeted to the Indian market and is the first product from the INDIA 2.0 product campaign. The Kushaq is blessed with the distinctive design language and Skoda's signature spaciousness.

What's with the name? Well, Skoda's latest SUV follows the nomenclature established by the brand, wherein an SUV's name will start with K and end at Q. The Kushaaq has derived from an ancient Sanskrit word 'kushak' which means a king or emperor.
What's the deal with the INDIA 2.0 product campaign?
The said campaign will compromise a total of four cars from Volkswagen and Skoda. All manufactured locally in the country and they will be based on the VW's MQB-A0-IN version of the VW Group's Modular Transverse Toolkit. It has been adopted by Skoda India
Skoda Kushaq premier details?
As mentioned the Kusahq SUV's premiere is scheduled to take place on 18th March and will be broadcasted live across the globe through the brand's Storyboard website.
