SDAC-Ford offers exciting cash rebates on Ranger Raptor and WildTrak

KUALA LUMPUR: The sole distributor for Ford cars in Malaysia, Sime Darby Auto ConneXion (SDAC), rolled out new festive deals for the Ford Ranger Raptor and WildTrak, ahead of the upcoming festive season. The promo gives away a rebate of up to RM 8,000 on the purchase of the performance Ranger Raptor, while savings of up to RM 7,000 are offered on the refined and smart Ranger WildTrak. 

Note, the Ramadhan Sales Promo is only applicable on the selected Raptor and WildTrak Year Make 2020 models and it is valid from now till April 30, 2021.

Giving a brief on the models, the Ranger Raptor is infused with Ford’s Performance DNA that exceeds expectations and sets a new benchmark as the first and only factory-built performance pickup truck in the country. The performance credentials are given to race-bred suspensions, and Fox Racing Shox, which provide higher damping forces at full bounce and enable better off-road capabilities. 

Under the hood, it is fitted with a 2.0L Bi-Turbo diesel engine generating 213 PS of maximum power and 500 Nm of peak torque. The power is sent to the four wheels via a ten-speed automatic transmission. The Ranger Raptor is also equipped with six preset driving modes under its Terrain Management System (TMS).

Moving to the refined Ranger WildTrak, the pickup delivers a robust performance and has new refinement levels, which are never seen before in the pickup truck category. It comes with an extensive pack of smart safety technological bits, mostly first and only in class. It includes Autonomous Emergency Braking with Vehicle and Pedestrian Detection, Forward Collision Warning, and Lane Departure Warning;

The truck also has the first and only in-class Semi-Automatic Parallel Parking, designed to not only help the driver find the right size parking space but also automatically steers itself in for a perfect park. Other strong points of the pickup are 800 mm water wading capability, 3,500 kg towing capacity, and payload of 1,000 kg.
