The Ferrari SP51 is powered by a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine which delivers a maximum power of 800 PS and a peak torque of 718 Nm.Based on the 812 GTS, the Ferrari SP51 supercar is created for a longstanding Taiwan-based client by the brand’s design boss Flavio Manzoni and the Special Projects division. The car retains the basic proportions and mechanical setup of the donor car but features a number of cosmetic enhancements lending the speedster a subtle retro look. These include -
- A special Rosso Passionale exterior shade with a special blue and white pinstripe, which reminds the 1955 Ferrari 410 S.
- New headlights with a sportier front and rear bumper and an aggressive diffuser setup
- Removal of the 812 GTS convertible’s electric roof, making the car an outright speedster with no retractable roof
- The interior of the Ferrari SP51 is sporty yet luxurious with two racing-type bucket seats wrapped in red Alcantara upholstery. The blue and white stitching can be observed on the seats and door trims of the car
- The dashboard and centre console are trimmed with carbon fibre trimming
- Parts of the equipment kit are LED headlights, diamond-cut alloy wheels, circular LED tail lights, an automatic climate control, multifunctional steering wheel, paddle shifters, multiple airbags and more
Powering the Ferrari SP51 is a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 engine which delivers a maximum power of 800 PS and a peak torque of 718 Nm. The power is sent to the wheels via a 7-speed DCT gearbox, enabling the supercar to hit the century sprint in less than three seconds. The top speed of the latest one-off Ferrari is rated at 340 kmph.
Looking for the price tag? Well, Ferrari did not reveal the price for this ultra-exclusive speedster. For reference though, we can look at the 812 GTS price on which it is based, which starts at $404,494 (approximately equal to TM1,875,783) in the US.
