Say hello to Tucson Prime, a sales-dog of a Hyundai dealership in Brazil
KUALA LUMPUR: Imagine you walk into a car dealership store to get a new car, and suddenly, a dog comes wagging his tail to greet you. No, this is not a narration of any movie scene; instead, this is what actually happens in a Hyundai showroom in Brazil.
A stray dog used to roam outside the Hyundai Prime dealership in Serra, Brazil, and eventually caught the attention of the persons working there. The store has not only adopted the dog but has also made him a formal employee in the showroom. Attractively named Tucson Prime, now the dog has a personal ID card, and he lives inside the dealership and interacts with teammates as well as customers.
Hyundai Brazil shared Tucson's Prime story a few days back on its Instagram account; after that, it became viral. "Meet Tucson Prime, the sales dog at the Hyundai Prime dealership. The new member is about a year old, was welcomed by the #Hyundai family, and has already won over co-workers and customers," the firm wrote.
The dog has become an internet celebrity as his Instagram account has 60,000 followers as of now. The account managers post the images of Tucson Prime attending meetings, greeting visitors, checking cars, and chilling in air condition.
Moreover, the people in the showroom have also affectionately created a kennel for their cutest teammate and make sure that he gets enough food and water. Tucson has also been dewormed, vaccinated, and showered to ensure that he and the people around him have no problem in the future.
Indeed, the fate of this Brazilian street dog has gone far beyond occasional snack offerings from people.
Although Tucson cannot close the deals on his own, we bet that his presence can at least help some of his colleagues sell a few units or two here and there.
