Renault Koleos 2019 - All you need to know
Renault Koleos was the French carmaker's first mid-size SUV nameplate which was co-created in partnership with Nissan. Renault Koleos is based on the Renault-Nissan Alliance's C-architecture and propelled by Nissan's QR25DE 2.5-litre non-turbo, four-cylinder petrol engine. The first-gen Koleos a rebadged job and shared most of its underpinnings as Nissan's X-Trail SUV, which added to its utility and reliability.
Even though it was a tasteful contraption, the SUV was not an instant success story and only returned unflattering sales figures.
The carmaker started pulling back Koleos across its global markets just ahead of 2010 and almost half a decade later, the SUV was discontinued altogether in favor of more popular models such as the Renault Duster.
Now there is an all-new Renault Koleos and this version is just as, if not even more attractive than the SUV's predecessor.
2019 Renault Koleos price:
The second-gen Koleos was first presented to the world at the 2016 Beijing Motor Show and was introduced in Malaysia later that year in 2WD version only, featuring a price tag of RM172,800.
As of today the outgoing model of Renault Koleos is offered in a two variant lineup.
Renault also offers a very competitive 100,000 km or 5- year (whichever comes first) complimentary service package along with a 5- year, unlimited mileage factory warranty for the 2019 Koleos.

Exterior
The general styling resembles that of the Renault Megane. The front of the Koleos gets a colossal C-shape LED daytime running light arrangement that fundamentally describes the SUV's general look, while higher-grade Signature models get full-LED headlights that ooze a cutting edge vibe.
Chrome elements are incorporated into the grille, onto the front doors and the front wing, while the door handles and side-windows are also surrounded in chrome outline. The SUV is offered with both 18- and 19-inch redesigned alloy wheels based on which model you select. The highlight of the SUV's hood features sharp and prominent lines and at the rear, we wind a dual- tip exhaust system
Interior
Renault Koleos's initial primary snag was the SUV's five-seat design. A vast majority of its rivals in the category like for example, the French carmaker's Japanese subsidiary Nissan and its X-Trail SUV offer a seven-seat layout and also shares the architecture with Koleos.
Other rivals like the Kia Sorento also offers seven-seat setup, so Renault has an impediment straight off the line and limits its client base. With only two rows of seats, the SUV comes with a great deal of cargo room.
There's additionally ample space for travellers in the back, so much so in fact that it may even make rival carmakers reexamine the utility factor of their contenders in the segment.
Equipment list and safety features
On the features front, Renault Koleos specs sheet comes equipped with a movement actuated electric boot release that can be operated by moving one’s foot underneath the vehicle.

The company also offers additional driver-assistance features that are offered as optional extras including:

In conclusion
Far from its initial and frankly unfortunate outing, the Koleos has changed into an ostensibly more attractive SUV among its adversaries. Other than its attractive design, Koleos is simple to drive and a very competent utility vehicle.
The 4WD variation is well equipped for off-road duties which makes it even more comfortable in the urban and city driving condition where we assume Koleos will be spending most of its time.
