Kuala Lumpur: TC Euro Cars previewed the new Renault Clio GT-Line at Pavilion, Kuala Lumpur. The all-new hatchback by Renault is a bit low on performance in comparison to the Renault Clio RS 200 EDC variant. According to Renault, Clio GT variant is made especially for - “drivers who want a sporty look but are not in the market for the high performance of an RS model.”
Renault Clio GT's bold styling, practical interior and a generous amount of standard kit, make the hatchback to stand out in the crowded supermini sector. In the front, the Clio GT comes close to matching the most attractive superminis for kerb appeal. With its rounded lines, vast headlamps and bulging rear wheel arches, the Renault has clearly been designed to attract attention. The whole front fascia is dominated by the bold Renault logo while the badge sits within a gloss black assembly that bridges the headlamps. In addition, LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and a metallic grey finish for the door mirror housings and door rubbing strips are found in respective places.
On the lateral side of Renault Clio GT, car adds some extra visual muscle courtesy with its 17-inch alloys in tyre size 205/45 Michelin Primary 3 tyres. The rear side of the hatch features rear diffuser and twin-exit exhaust. And while there’s no sporty three-door option, the sloping roofline and hidden rear door handles help give the car a sleek, coupé-like profile.

Even the multi-function steering wheel is leather trimmed for better grip and handling. Elsewhere, the classy grey trim dominates the centre console and dashboard. The customers of Clio GT are also provided with an 'ECO' button located by the side of the parking brake for improved fuel efficiency, which creates a difference of about 10 % in combined mileage value.
