Proton's new 3S-Platinum outlet opens in Alor Setar
KUALA LUMPUR: Edaran Otomobil Nasional Berhad (EON), the largest Proton cars dealer in Malaysia has started a new Proton 3S centre in Alor Setar, Kedah. Being the first Platinum outlet of EON, it offers the customers everything they need, be it a new car, service as well as spare parts. With this, the overall count of distributor's outlets comes down to 10.

Proton’s new 3S-Platinum outlet is located at the Souq Commercial Centre in the northeastern part of Alor Setar city.Spanned across an area of 35,992 sq feet, the Proton EON 3S-Platinum outlet can display up to 7 Proton cars. As for servicing, there are six service lanes with vehicle hoists, three non-hoisted lanes, an advanced driver assistance systems lane, and an alignment lane.
Amenities available for the customers visiting the centre include a Food & Beverage corner, laptop and phone charging, free Wi-Fi and Netflix, and a room for kids.
The launch ceremony of the new Proton 3S-Platinum outlet was graced by Dato' Sri Syed Faisal Albar, the Group Managing Director of DRB-HICOM Berhad, Roslan Abdullah, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of PROTON, and Akkbar Danial, Chief Executive Officer of EON. The management and personnel from DRB-HICOM Berhad, Proton Edar Sdn Bhd, and EON Berhad were also present on the D-Day.
“The launch of this Proton EON-3S Platinum outlet here in Alor Setar further augments EON’s commitment to strengthen PROTON’s presence in the country, especially in the north. This is part of EON’s expansion plans and continuous effort to cater to the evolving needs of the Malaysian auto market,” said Akkbar Danial.
“Consumers today have become more discerning, more knowledgeable, and demand more value not only in terms of the vehicle but also in their service expectations. We are driven by the determination to provide premium quality facilities, excellent customer services, deliver on these expectations, and to keep on improving our services from pre-purchase, purchase, to post-purchase stages,” he added.
The new outlet is strategically located at the Souq Commercial Centre in the northeastern part of Alor Setar city.
