Preview the Final Koenigsegg One:1
KUALA LUMPUR: The final and the ultimate Koenigsegg's One:1 makes its way out of the automakers' production unit situated in Angelhom, Sweden. It is the seventh model of this supercar by Koenigsegg.
This flagship model by Koenigsegg made its first appearance at the 2014 Geneva Motor Show, where it was revealed that only 7 models of this supercar will be produced, as said by the company's CEO & founder, Christian Von Koenigsegg. 6 models out of the total seven would be out for delivery while the one was produced as a test vehicle. But, the popularity it gained after its first release was high enough to prompt the company to put up the prototype vehicle for sale too.
The reason behind its name One:1 is the ratio of its weight and power output being the same, that is 1360 Kg and 1360 PS respectively, resulting in a weight ratio of 1 PS to 1 Kg.
On the technical front, this supercar is powered by a 5.0L twin-turbocharged V8 engine with the capability to produce a whooping power output of 1,341 hp and 1,371 Nm of torque. It comes with paddle shifters where the engine is accompanied with a seven-speed dual clutch gearbox.
The use of carbon fibre and aluminium in the making of this supercar helps in limiting its weight to just 197 Kgs, which is incredible for its overall performance. It also created a lot of buzz with its spectacular record breaking sprint of 0-300 Kmph in just 17.95 seconds.
Looking at the image, it shows that the final model also holds the same touch as its previous released six models. The majority of the car is covered in white, while a tinch of red accents across the exterior edges adds to its beauty. The black color adds grace to other parts of the car like vents, alloys, rear wing and the centre strip that runs across the front bumper and also cover the bonnet.
