Assembled in Malaysia Peugeot 2008 just launched in Thailand

New Peugeot 2008 is offered in a single variant option, the Allure which is priced at THB 1,189,000 (around RM 149k).Over 170 employees have returned to work and Stellantis is working with more than 50 local Malaysian suppliers with production ramping up for the remainder of 2021 to meet the moving demand.

The locally-manufactured new Peugeot 2008 is already 2 years old in terms of production release date. It was unveiled in 2020 in Europe with great fanfare as an extension of the company’s product offering.
Sales of this compact SUV will commence in Thailand this month, December, with additional right-hand drive and left-hand drive markets across South East Asia to follow in the coming year.
This new Peugeot 2008 is a proper SUV with a length of 4.30m and a wheelbase of 2.60m providing a comfortable boot volume of 434L. Its modularity is ensured by a two-position floor which provides a virtually flat floor once the rear seat is folded.
With a variety of new storage on board, you will be able to keep everything you need on a daily basis with you. In addition to the traditional door pockets and the glove box, there is ample storage space under the front center armrest and more in front of the gear stick.
Additionally, there is more discreet storage at the bottom of the central console. There you'll find the very convenient induction charging area and its lid, which in an open position can cleverly hold a smartphone.
This newly assembled in Malaysia Peugeot 2008 is equipped with Full LED Headlights, Signature 3-claws Light, the new Peugeot i-Cockpit® 3D, 3D Quartz Cluster and 7-inch HD Touchscreen with Toggle Switches.
