Peugeot Malaysia announced an extended service interval

KUALA LUMPUR: It was only recently that Bermaz Auto Alliance Sdn Bhd (BAASB), the official distributor of Peugeot cars in Malaysia, pleased its customers with the rollout of a 5-year manufacturer warranty along with 5 years of free maintenance. And now, the French automaker announced an interval change in the free maintenance schedule. 

The service interval has been extended from 10,000 km/12 months (whichever comes first) to 15,000 km/12 months. The extension adds to the customers’ benefit as they will now have to visit the Peugeot dealerships less often for oil changes, ultimately leading to a reduction in ownership costs.

The automaker says the “longer service interval has been a continuous pursuit to reduce the consumption of lubricants and service maintenance parts to address the negative impact on climate change.”

The extended servicing package applies to all PEUGEOT cars, which are on sale in Malaysia These include the Peugeot 2008, the Peugeot 5008, and the Peugeot 3008. 

Included in the free maintenance package is approved scheduled maintenance from the automaker inclusive of labour, parts, and lubricants. However, the other warranty terms & conditions for these models remain unchanged.

To make an online service appointment for servicing, interested folks can log on to customer.peugeot.com.my or visit their nearest Peugeot service centre or showroom.
