Perodua Bezza - Variants explained
Bezza is a car developed by the Malaysian automobile manufacturer, Perodua. The vehicle comes under the A-segment and was launched in 2016,
with three variants on offer, namely Standard G, Premium X and Advance. It has been the first-ever sedan car by the automaker and continues to be a range-topper since its launch with a 5 star ASEAN NCAP rating.
Bezza, codenamed as D63D is based on the Axia’s platform, which is a five-door hatchback. Famous for being an in-house effort with 95% local content, the car has not received any major update to its existing lineup yet.
However, Perodua launched a Limited Edition Bezza which was based on the Premium X and came solely with an automatic transmission. This variant of the car was limited to 50 units at its launch.
People are speculating a 2020 Bezza, as the car has not received any form of update in recent years. The new and updated Bezza is expected to have X-face design adapted from the current Axia SE/Advance.
It is also suspected to have slimmer headlamps and grille. The lower end of the car is expected to be more streamlined. Moreover, it is said to be bigger and provide good headroom and boot space with a larger wheel-base of around 15-inches alloy.
