One-of-a-kind Ferrari for China; celebrates the brand’s 30th anniversary in the country

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, you heard it just right. Ferrari is celebrating its 30th anniversary in China by introducing a one-of-a-kind tailor-made Ferrari Roma.

With the arrival of the new model, Ferrari is not only celebrating the first car order which was placed in Beijing in 1992, but also the start of the automaker’s fourth decade in the country.

Key details about the China-limited Ferrari Roma

• The car is designed by the automaker in collaboration with Jiang Qiong Er, a prominent Chinese designer under the brand’s Tailor Made programme
• Customers can customize the model as per their taste and individuality with assistance from the Ferrari designer team
• The car reflects a devotion to detail, commitment to exquisite craftsmanship, and a respect for tradition & heritage

• The one-of-a-kind Ferrari’s design language showcases simplicity and timeless elegance
• The Ferrari features eye-catching, contrasting hues, Sanusilver Matter and Rosso Magma Glossy. The latter pays homage to the traditional Chinese carmine red hue
• Also, part of the design theme (body and cabin) are stripes inspired by classic Ming Dynasty furniture

• The car’s design language is inspired by the Chinese and sophisticated Italian artistry of the original model
• The car also features - a red key case, carbon-fiber sills with Tailor-Made dedications, a dedicated plate engraved with the Chinese character for ‘30’, and gold Boluo Lacquer

• The car also comes with an exclusive lifestyle package, designed by Jiang Qiong Er. The kit includes - a set of four aroma diffusers, an ebony cigar box, a tea tool set painted in red and gold spotted Baluo lacquer, a tea set made using the craft of bamboo weaving, and an inkstone cigar ashtray. Also, part of the setup is a Chinese checkers set made from agate and leather, a Xuan paper kite, and cashmere blankets. All these items are safely stored in the boot, armrest, and glove box compartment

Powering the Roma is the brand’s award-winning 3.9-liter V8 engine generating a maximum power output of 612 hp along with a peak torque of 760 Nm. The drive is sent to the wheels via an 8-speed automatic transmission with all-wheel drive as standard.
