Nissan Indonesia launched a ‘Sporty Package’ for Livina MPV
KUALA LUMPUR: Dubbed as the brand’s most advanced MPV, the current Nissan Livina launched in Indonesia last year. With trendy technology, new design, reliable performance, and high comfort, the small MPV is a rebadged version of Mitsubishi Xpander. And now, the automaker launched a ‘Sporty Package’ for it, with an intent to add a pinch of sportiness to the family hauler. An MPV with a sporty body kit sounds unusual, let’s have a detailed look.
The Sporty Package lends an enhanced sporty design to Livina, featuring black paint contrasted by red accents on the front splitter, rear bumpers, side skirts, and wing mirror covers. The same shading has given to the premium seat covers with sporty red stitching accents. A special Livina logo is also seen in the carpet with badges fitted onto the sidestep.
Along with this, Nissan Livina Sporty Edition comes with an Around View Monitor (AVM), which displays several camera views, including a bird's-eye. These displays allow the driver to navigate the vehicle quickly, and to park the car easily. Nissan says that with AVM, a driver can be confident while driving on narrow streets or parking in challenging situations.
A best-in-class safety/visibility feature, `Welcome' and `Coming Home' lights, is also included in the package, which reflects Nissan's `Disruptive' approach. It turns on the smaller lights of the MPV for around 30 seconds when locking and unlocking the car to light up the surroundings.
"The introduction of this limited number of Nissan Livina with Sporty Package, is not only providing a sporty option for Nissan Livina fans but features Nissan Intelligent Mobility - our human-first approach to providing customers an innovative, future-thinking driving and ownership experience," said Isao Sekiguchi, president director of Nissan in Indonesia.
With only 100 examples available in black color, the special edition of Nissan Livina is priced at IDR 265,400,000 (RM 80,272). The interested customers can place orders at Nissan dealers in Indonesia to receive deliveries this month. And as Nissan does not sell Livina MPV in Malaysia, we will not have the sportier one.
