New Isuzu D-Max variant launching in Malaysia TODAY!

KUALA LUMPUR: Yes, you read it just right. Isuzu Malaysia will launch the new D-Max pickup truck model, the 4x2 Auto Plus, today in Malaysia. It is been called the 'Boundary Breaker', thus making its waiting time all the more exciting. 

The new Isuzu D-Max 4X2 Auto Plus was teased by the automaker giving us a hint of the silhouette of this double cab vehicle. The automaker has created a new website and opened the registration of this new D-MAX.

Isuzu has managed to keep the new D-Max 4x2 Auto Plus specs undercover. However, the vehicle's register-of-interest page is topped by an image revealing engine output figures - 150 PS and 350 Nm. It also has the 5-star safety rating badge from ASEAN NCAP.

What else? Well, unlike the existing model, the new variant features a 4x2 drivetrain, a simple rear-wheel drive pickup with six-speed automatic transmission.

At present, the ongoing Isuzu D-Max double-cab that was launched recently is offered in three variant options - the Standard 1.9L, mid-spec 1.9L/3.0L Premium AT 4X4, and range-topping X-Terrain AT 4X4. The Malaysian-spec D-Max price starts from RM 106,999.20 and goes up to RM 141,938.40.
