New Ferrari Purosangue SUV exterior revealed in unofficial images

The photos published by an Instagram user named Wilcoblok reveal the front face and the rear fascia of the upcoming SUV. The car does not appear as a traditional SUV in the images as its height seems much less than available models and more like a sports car. This is perhaps due to the automaker's vision that Purosangue is not an SUV, but a Ferrari utility vehicle.
On the front, we can spot some resemblance with the Ferrari Roma, especially the headlamps; the two cars underpin the same platform. Notable highlights include a large mesh front grille, a uniquely designed fender at the lower front part of the SUV, large gloss black wheel arches, and rear design similarities with the 296 GTB. The latter features a conventional diffuser and quad tailpipes.
Well, these images may not be the best photos of the upcoming Purosangue, but they tell us exactly what it looks like.
Unlike the exterior design, the interior and under the hood configuration of Ferrari’s upcoming SUV are still a mystery. However, some reports suggest that it will be powered by a hybrid mill, with an ICE at the front and an electric motor at the rear axle. Another possibility is
a 3.9-litre twin-turbo gasoline engine available on the Roma and F8 Tributo. As for the transmission, the SUV may get a dual-clutch automatic transmission sending power to all four wheels.
Ferrari will produce around 10,000 units of the Purosangue annually that will take on the likes of the Lamborghini Urus, Aston Martin DBX, and Porsche Cayenne.
