NETA opens flagship Ampang store - 50 Neta X delivered to customers

KUALA LUMPUR: Neta has taken a major leap forward in Malaysia with the debut of NETA Auto’s inaugural flagship store in the heart of Ampang.

Partnering with KCM Group, NETA Auto unveils this state-of-the-art showroom, crafted to deliver a high-tech, immersive experience for EV enthusiasts.

This flagship location is not just a place to view cars; it's a testament to NETA’s commitment to Malaysia, aligning with their mission of blending advanced mobility solutions with a customer-centric retail experience.

A Milestone for NETA’s Expansion in Malaysia

This flagship opening signals NETA Auto’s commitment to accelerating Malaysia’s EV movement. As Vice President Zhou Jiang stated, “Each store we open represents a step toward our mission: to make intelligent, sustainable mobility accessible to all.”

Strategically placed near major landmarks and transportation hubs, this Ampang store also highlights NETA’s deep local partnership with KCM Group, giving Malaysian customers an enhanced EV experience that marries affordability with innovation.

NETA’s ambition doesn’t stop at Ampang. The company plans to expand with 20 dealerships across Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Johor, Penang, and East Malaysia by year-end, solidifying its reach in key urban areas.

Additionally, upgrades to existing locations to 3S (Sales, Service, and Spare Parts) centers will further NETA’s dedication to providing comprehensive support to EV owners nationwide.

Following its success in Thailand, NETA now aims to capture Malaysia’s burgeoning EV market with models like the NETA X.

The Showroom Experience

Located on a sprawling 2,322 square meters in Kuala Lumpur’s embassy district, the flagship Ampang store offers a fresh approach to automotive retail.

Its design features modern glass curtain walls and a stylish combination of grays and Nordic wood finishes, all enhancing the sophisticated ambiance.

The showroom not only showcases vehicles but also includes a cozy coffee lounge, a merchandise area, and dedicated after-sales service spaces, creating a versatile environment where customers can connect with NETA’s vision.

KCM Group’s Director, Mo, expressed his excitement: “Our Ampang flagship is about more than just selling cars; it’s about creating a supportive community for NETA owners and fans alike. With interactive displays and customer-focused amenities, we’re redefining what people expect from an automotive showroom.”

NETA X headlines the showroom opening

Celebrating its entry into the Malaysian market, NETA’s Ampang store marked the delivery of the first 50 units of the NETA X to Malaysian buyers. Launched earlier this year on July 25, the NETA X is available in three variants, combining sportiness, spaciousness, and safety with an array of innovative tech features.

“As a parent, I appreciate the NETA X for its safety features and user-friendly design,” shared one delighted customer. The NETA X includes a 8.9-inch digital cluster, multiple airbags, and technology that brings both comfort and peace of mind.

To sweeten the deal, NETA offers each new owner either a free NETA Wallbox or one year of free charging credit via chargeEV, as well as two years of complimentary maintenance up to 40,000 kilometers.

This promotion, available until October 31, 2024, underscores NETA’s commitment to making EV ownership as accessible and enjoyable as possible.

Grand Opening Celebrations 

To mark the milestone, NETA hosted a grand opening celebration at the flagship Ampang store on October 26-27, 2024, from 10 AM to 6 PM.

The public were invited to join, explore the cutting-edge showroom, and participate in exclusive test drives. Visitors over the weekend could also enjoy a 10% discount on Xiaomi products and take advantage of special deals on select NETA models.
