Meet the made for Japan Bentley, the Continental GT V8 Equinox Edition

KUALA LUMPUR: The Continental GT V8 is another special edition model created by Bentley Mulliner. This new addition to its Collections family is a bespoke model curated for Japan.

Based on the monochrome theme of white, black, and silver, this bespoke creation is equipped with Styling Specification that brings along elements like the front splitter, boot lip spoiler, rear diffuser, and side sills. Note, all of these features are branded with metal Bentley inlays. As for the model we see here, it is finished in a Glacier White hue.

Bentley Continental GT V8 Equinox Edition exterior is rather mesmerising with high gloss black finished front grille and lower side blades and carbon-fibre trims with a strop of Moonbeam. On to the side are present prominent wheel arches housing 22-inch Mulliner Driving Specification wheels finished in dark metallic Tungsten hue.

The cabin continues to feature a monochrome theme. The headrest and seat edge panels get beautifully contrasted silver-accented leather. The seat and steering get silver stitching and the dual-finished veneers feature Piano Moonbeam over Grand Black. These beautiful veneers are made by hand and the passenger fascia even gets a Mulliner logo inlay.

Bentley Continental GT V8 Equinox Edition is powered by the same tried and tested 4.0-litre twin-turbo engine making a maximum power of 550 PS along with a peak torque of 770 Nm. The power is sent to the wheels via an 8-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

On the performance front, the rear-biased all-wheel drive system enables the car to complete the century sprint in just four seconds. It can attain a top speed of 318 kmph.
