Meet the AMB 001 Pro, Aston Martin’s new track-only superbike
KUALA LUMPUR: With all the pomp and show, the EICMA motorcycle show has begun in Milan showcasing different masterpieces created by the auto giants. One such creation is the AMB 001 Pro, a track-only superbike introduced by Aston Martin and Brough Superior. This is the second collaborative product of the two iconic British brands, after the 2019 AMB 001, which promises to offer more potent performance than the previous model.

Styling-wise, the track-only machine is decked up with a racing livery in Verdant Jade colour contrasted with satin-finished carbon fibre finishings, a black Cerakote engine, and black suspension parts paired with “Photon Lime” detailing. Also part of the kit is a new front spoiler and side wings, a new intake vent, a new lower side fairing, and a rear fin with an aero stabiliser design, The rear wheel now comes with an enclosed cover for aero purposes.

When you push something to the very edge of capacity and do it seamlessly, the resulting experience can have you breathless. There is no separation between the advanced materials, design, and technical capabilities of the bike. We’ve achieved this fluidity again with Brough Superior for those who desire a track superbike like none other. The rider is part of this moving sculpture and will literally feel as though they are part of the track when laying atop the AMB 001 Pro.”
Thierry Henriette, Chief Executive Officer of Brough Superior, said “We are excited to reveal the AMB 001 Pro at EICMA today. The success of its predecessor, coupled with the incredible Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro, inspired us to get together again to create a new superbike; one that we know will excite our customers. We are particularly proud of the new engine type, with a crankcase fully machined from solid billet aluminium, which is a unique feature for a production motorcycle. With the marked increase in power this takes AMB 001 Pro into the hyperbike sector.”
Just like the AMB 001, the Pro version will also be offered in very limited numbers, just 88 to be precise. The automaker has already started accepting orders with the bike to be manufactured at the Brough Superior factory in France. The deliveries are expected to commence in Q4 2023.
