Meet the all-new 2024 Aston Martin Vantage, redefining luxury and performance

KUALA LUMPUR: Aston Martin has given its iconic Vantage sports car a heavy facelift for 2024. The two-seater luxury car gains enhanced exterior styling, new technology, a reworked 4.0 Twin-Turbo V8 engine, and significant chassis upgrades. The deliveries are scheduled to begin in Q2 2024 in global markets.

Let’s know the 2024 Aston Martin Vantage in detail, starting with mechanical specifications.

2024 Aston Martin Vantage engine and performance

The upgraded Vantage is powered by a heavily reworked, hand-built 4.0 Twin-Turbo V8 engine churning out the class-leading outputs of 665 PS and 800 Nm. It marks the biggest-ever jump in power and torque compared to the predecessor, with increases of 155 PS and 115 Nm equating to gains of 30% and 15% respectively. 

To achieve this, Aston Martin engineers extensively tuned the engine by modifying cam profiles, optimising compression ratios, and upgrading turbos and cooling systems.

The revised engine is paired with an 8-speed ZF automatic transmission enough to propel the two-seater vehicle from zero to 100 kmph in 3.4 seconds and to a top speed of 325 kmph.

Also new is a Launch Control system that comes integrated with the powertrain, transmission, and Electronic Stability Programme. It maximises torque deployment while maintaining optimal wheel slip through E-Diff, ESP slip control, and engine torque management. The Adjustable Traction Control system allows the driver to adjust wheel slip during launch, providing precise control over acceleration.

The 2024 Vantage is built around the brand’s latest generation bonded aluminium construction and features an enhanced body structure promising more focused and engaging dynamics with additional underbody stiffening components for increased overall torsional rigidity. It features industry-leading Active Vehicle Dynamics, Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers, electronic rear differential, AML-specific 21-inch Michelin Pilot S 5 tyres, and carbon ceramic brakes.

The new Vantage boasts a wider body with a more muscular stance. The front fascia is kitted with a 38% larger grille aperture for increased airflow and enhanced cooling and additional cooling intakes on the bumper. A new integrated splitter is also added for improved aerodynamics and stability at high speeds. 

The sports car also gets new frameless door mirrors and wider wheel arches, creating a powerful and poised stance. At the rear, we can find a wider bumper with side vents and larger quad exhaust tailpipes completing the dramatic look.

The ultra-luxury interior of the new Aston Martin Vantage is adorned with sleek architectural lines and the finest materials. It is packed with state-of-the-art technology, including

• In-house developed 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system supporting wireless Apple CarPlay and satellite navigation 
• 390W 11-speaker sound system (optional 15-speaker double amplified 1170W Bower and Wilkins system)
• Fully digital instrument cluster with a widescreen panel
• All-new connected car ecosystem with three key elements - the Vantage, the Aston Martin app, and Aston Martin’s secure data servers
