Meet the 10 units limited Aznom Palladium
KUALA LUMPUR: Aznom, the Italian coachbuilding firm has introduced its latest creation, the Palladium. This limited-edition 4X4 luxury limousine looks like a weird but unique combination of Ran 1500 and Rolls-Royce.
Tagged as 'hyper limousine', the Aznom Palladium is 5960 mm long and almost 2000 mm tall. It takes its name and design theme from Italian architect Andrea Palladio, know for his opulent Roman and Greek mansions.
The Palladium is the successor of Atulux, a $300,000 luxury car that Aznom created back in 2018. It was based on the Ram 1500 pickup and was the only Atulux success that inspired Aznom founder, Marcello Meregalli to work on its heir. As a result, he created an even more luxurious product called the Palladium.
Meregalli said, "I can say today that we pushed that idea even further, conceiving a vehicle that can take its owner wherever, to an elegant soiree as well as on a demanding off-road course. It is a true extra-luxurious limousine that is also able to trek the desert! This is why our Palladium is so unique,
Powering the Aznom Palladium is a 5.7-litre twin-turbo V8 mill that churns out a maximum power of 721 PS and a peak torque of 950 Nm. The said engine is paired to an 8-speed automatic gearbox that sends power to the wheels. Aznom claims a 0 to 100 kmph time frame of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 210 kmph.
On request, Aznom will fit the Palladium with a mild-hybrid system, also it claims that the car can run with four-Cyl in certain conditions to save fuel.
The company only plans to manufacture 10 units of the Palladium with each being tailor-made at Aznom's headquarter in Monza, Itlay, as per client requests.
Part of Palladium's feature kit is - 22-inch high-resistance steel wheels, Foglizzo leather ceiling, onboard refrigerator, and gold-and-palladium handmade clock. Part of its safety kit is several driver assistance techs, like a 360-degree view camera, adaptive cruise control, park assist, blind-spot monitoring, and advanced brake assist.
The exact launch date and price of the Aznom Palladium will be announced soon with the company looking to target customers in the USA, China, the Middle East, and Russian markets.
