Meet Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet; a 50 unit limited roadster
KUALA LUMPUR: Our first encounter with the Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet was in the form of sketches, and now the company has released its official images. And we must say the two-seater open-top roadster sure looks mesmerising cruising down the roads of Lake Garda, Italy.
The Dawn Silver Bullet is part of Rolls-Royce 'Collection Cars' lineup and is essentially the automaker's imagination of a two-seater open-top roadster. For this purpose, the automaker took its four-seater Dawn and converted it into a two-seater roadster. So, a lot of things, designs, etc. remain the same; however, the car stocks some amazing changes as well.
Here are a few key points on the Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet -
- The Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet is a 50 unit limited two-seat open-top roadster
- It gets bespoke metallic body shape called Brewster Silver that pays tribute to brand's past models like Silver Spectre, Silver Dawn, Silver Silence, and Silver King
- Subtle dark element is found on its wheels, headlights, and bumper finish
- On the inside, it gets something called 'Aero Cowling' which is the tonneau cover for the rear seat
- It also receives a vapour-blasted titanium finisher along with an open-pore carbon-fibre insert and quilted transmission cover inspired from leather jackets
Rolls-Royce is currently hush on the car's powertrain. However, we expect it to be powered by the tried and tested Dawn's 6.6-litre twin-turbo V12 mill. This one makes a maximum power of 563 PS along with a peak torque of 820 Nm. It covers 0 to 100 kmph in 5 seconds and has an electronically limited top speed of 250 kmph.
The Rolls-Royce Dawn Silver Bullet is expected to make its global launch by the end of this year.
