Meet Hyundai’s new high-performance sedan, the Elantra N TCR Edition
KUALA LUMPUR: Hyundai has rolled out an all-new high-performance version of the Elantra, called the Elantra N TCR Edition. As the name suggests, this limited edition model celebrates the brand’s achievements in the TCR (Touring Car Racing) series.

Giant rear wing
Based on Hyundai’s Motorsport DNA, the high-performance sedan features a lightweight Carbon Swan Neck Spoiler. It comes with adjustable functionality, providing optimal downforce settings for various driving conditions and preferences.
Special wheels
The Elantra N TCR Edition comes with highly rigid, lightweight 19-inch N TCR forged wheels, which enhance handling precision and improve overall driving dynamics. The wheels are mated to N Performance four-piston brakes as standard.
Exclusive decals
This exterior is further enhanced by bold TCR Edition N decals, which are available only in South Korea.
Cabin enhancements
The cabin features a race-inspired Alcantara steering wheel, housing a Performance Blue mark at the 12-o'clock position. Further conforming to the sedan’s unique identity are Performance Blue seat belts and exclusive TCR Edition badging.
Under the skin, this special model incorporates the same 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine that we can find on the standard Hyundai Elantra N. The said mill produces a maximum power of 276 bhp and a peak torque of 392 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the wheels either via a 6-speed manual or an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The Elantra N is known as a quick and capable performer in the segment with a 0-100 kmph sprint time of approx 5 seconds.
“Hyundai Motor has incorporated the experience and expertise accumulated in motorsports into ELANTRA N TCR Edition,” said Joon Park, Vice President of N Brand Management Group.
“We will continue to enhance the DNA of Hyundai N, so that N-enthusiasts can experience the thrill of motorsports in their daily lives,” he added.
