MCO Update: Hyundai Malaysia to suspend all operations till April 14
KUALA LUMPUR: Following the government's MCO (movement control order) advisory, Hyundai Malaysia has now announced to halt all operations till April 14. This includes Hyundai Malaysia's nationwide outlets and service centers. However, customers can connect with the Hyundai sales and service advisors via phone, online chat, or email.
Customers with urgent matters like repair or warranty claim can visit certain dealers that are still operational, albeit under strict protocols. Although, we urge against it unless it is vital to do so. Hyundai Roadside Assist service remains functional and can be connected at any time at 1-300-13-200.
If your car warranty expires during the MCO period, no need to fret as Hyundai has said to grant an additional 30-day coverage. The 30-day leeway will start from the day the government lifts the MCO, and the concerned customers are advised to send/bring their vehicle for servicing within the given period.
Customers who have submitted warranty claims before the implementation of the MCO period, their request for part replacement will be honored, but terms and conditions applied. Customers who are not able to send their car for the scheduled service appointment will be pardoned.
