Maserati’s Global Restructuring: New Overseas Region added with Hamdy Elshantoury at the helm
KUALA LUMPUR: The Italian luxury carmaker Maserati has announced a restructuring of its global business with the introduction of a new Overseas Region. Taking the helm as the leader of the newly established region is Hamdy Elshantoury, who assumed the role on January 1, 2024.

The company’s decision to introduce the Overseas Region aligns with its commitment to serving diverse markets. The goal is to leverage the growth opportunities and cater to varying business structures. The leadership team of the new region will be headquartered in Modena, Italy, ensuring close connections with central management for efficient support and decision-making. However, the market management team will remain in the region with close contacts in their countries.
The company has also assigned responsibility for the SEAP & India markets to Wong Yi Mui Wallace and East Europe and Latin American markets to Marco Spadaro.
