Maserati Tipo Folgore Gen3 gets Formula E Gen 3 Livery

KUALA LUMPUR: Maserati’s first fully electric racing car is in the making. Scheduled to compete in the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, Season 9, the car recently got its striking lines from Maserati MSG Racing.

The livery for the Maserati electric racing car gives the beast a pure and contemporary look. Either side of the bulkhead gets the Italian Tricolour lead Maserati Corse logo and the nose gets the naturally prominent looks of the Trident.

Let’s get to know the Maserati Tipo Folgore Gen3 race car in detail -

• With the introduction of the Tipo Folgore Gen3 electric race car, Maserati becomes the first Italian carmaker to enter the Formula E race
• The car is inspired by the Trident’s iconic blue hue
• It showcases the ultimate electrifying high performance, cutting-edge tech, and efficiency
• It is a ‘Race Beyond’ offering which is a platform that transfers innovation from circuit to road
• It will be the fastest and most efficient Formula E car with its front and rear powertrains generating 600 kW of regenerative power and 95% power efficiency
• More than 40% of the power used within the race will come from regenerative braking alone
• It is built in accordance with Formula Es track expertise, software, and tech requirement

Before entering the race tracks of the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez City, Mexico on January 14th, 2023, the Tipo Folgore will head to Spain for pre-season testing.
