Maserati received the world's best event award at Bea World Festival
KUALA LUMPUR: A few days back, the Maserati “MMXX: Time to be Audacious” show was chosen as the best event in the XVII edition of the Best Event Awards Competition 2020. And now the same event grabbed one more accolade that is first prize at the “Bea World Festival - The International Festival of Events and Live Communication,” a global competition that picks the year’s best events as well as locations worldwide.
An event touted as unprecedented for the automotive industry and worthy of the highest international recognitions happened back in September. The two-day event was organized in three folds; a live show, virtual streaming, and a narration of the brand’s real journey involving key Modena locations. On September 9, 500 guests graced the occasion with their physical presence at the Modena Circuit along with thousands of spectators attending the show virtually through mirroring events in Tokyo and New York. The next day, the whole of Modena city became the stage for the brand’s unusual communication concept. During the show, the carmaker unveiled the new MC20 super sports car.
Because of its dual nature, i.e., real and virtual at the same time, the event was among the first three in various categories, including
- First in Digital/Hybrid Brand Experience
- Second in the Digital/Hybrid B2C and Use of Technology
- Third in Digital Transformation
“The Brand has stepped up a gear and inaugurated a new Era,” Maserati CEO Davide Grasso commented. “And we’ve done it in true Maserati style: with audacity, constantly pushing forward and focusing on our goal. We created an event unprecedented for our industry, a real brand experience that embodied the courage of the Maserati Family, and the Brand’s values.”
For Maserati, the event was conceived and produced by FeelRouge Worldwide Shows which also won the tag of ‘Best Events Agency of the Year.’ While extending gratitude to the Italian luxury automaker, FeelRouge’s CEO said, "Maserati has given us the wonderful opportunity to best express our creativity and production skills.
